LJCC Butterfly Project Virtual Community Workshop

The LJCC Butterfly Project presents its workshops to thousands of students each year. We invite the larger community to experience a workshop. During these turbulent times in our world, join us to listen to a story of Holocaust survival which inspires hope and shows how the small acts of individuals can make a huge impact in someone’s life, followed by the opportunity to ask questions of the survivor. Using the lessons of the Holocaust, we will discuss why it is so important to stand up against injustice. Take a virtual tour of the Margaret & Lou Schwartz Butterfly Garden Holocaust Memorial.

Participation by both parents and their children (ages 10+) will form the basis for wonderful follow-up discussion.
