Domestic violence and abuse affects millions every year. It can be physical abuse but it is also psychological, financial and emotional abuse. It can include controlling behaviors, put-downs, dictating religious observance, withholding money, threatening to hurt or kill, stalking, threatening, and/or belittling someone so they feel worthless.
