“May citizens of all races and creeds forge a common bond in true harmony to banish all hatred and bigotry” - A Prayer for our Country

In light of recent news stories that have put national attention on North Carolina, and Charlotte in particular, we need to face some harsh realities about race relations. How do we approach these community challenges in light of our Jewish ethics? How do our values require us to build bridges across racial lines? Temple Israel’s late winter Lifelong Learning program will address these issues with community leaders, in conversation with Rabbi Murray Ezring.
