Temple Kol Ami of Fort Mill, SC is pleased to host a Holocaust Memorial Lecture, in conjunction with the Religion and Philosophy Dept of Winthrop University. The lecture will be given by Dr George Bacall, son of Holocaust survivors Alina and Leo Bakalczuk, and is based on the testimony of Alina in her book "No Common Place". Alina and Leo survived the Warsaw Uprising, Madjanek and Auschwitz and multiple death marches. The lecture is FREE and refreshments will be served. This event is sponsored through the Jewish Federation of Greater Charlotte's Impact and Innovation Fund 2019 grant to Temple Kol Ami.
